I healed my past hurts and grief, and started teaching women entrepreneurs how they can do the same: I watched them increase the space to explore their mental well-being, deepen their relationship with their body and create more motivation and productivity in their every day lives! I have since made a commitment to dedicate the rest of my professional life to helping other women own their truth, their well-being, and their lives.

How did you become an Stress Reduction and Lifestyle Coach?

To answer this question, it’s probably best that I share with you a defining moment, and a resulting “compelling story”, that brought me to where I am today – coaching people like you on exactly what to do to increase the space to explore their mental well-being, deepen their relationship with their body and create more motivation and productivity in their every day lives. That defining moment in my life happened in 2010.

During the 7th year of being a Sr. Web Application Developer, I found myself falling apart. The income was not at the level I had expected it to be and at times it was just enough to make the bills and mortgage. Additionally, I was lost without motivation, listless in my work and becoming someone who dreaded Monday. I would sit with Sunday night anxiety lamenting the work ahead. A few years later I lost Mom very suddenly in a car accident. When I saw her the day before she passed, we shared a beautiful moment at the airport as we parted, literally my last good bye. It was in this journey that I learned a giant life lesson - life is defined by the moment you are in right in the moment. You choose to chase a goal or share your heart because nothing is guaranteed. My mother was one who always told me to, “Be Strong” and “Be Happy because you were raised with a lot of love.” Losing Mom so suddenly was something that shifted me in the deepest of ways. She helped me embrace joy and release perfection. She drove me to engage with my purpose and seek my bliss.

As I was trying to navigate this deep grief, I spent one year pulling myself through life to find balance and new structures again. And it was challenging and much of a blur. During my second year of mourning my mother and my sadness, all sorts of signs started to drop into my awareness. And then … one day there was a storm that forced me to work from home. The next day I went to drive my car to work, and the car wouldn’t start because the battery died, so I stayed home. On the third day going into the office, the company I worked for was shifting locations and, once I was introduced to the new site, I knew I couldn’t move forward. I submitted my resignation from this job that had weighted on me so long. I finally admitted to myself that my mind and heart were calling me in a different direction for a very long time and I kept ignoring them.

I came home that day to do my workout and I felt this roller-coaster of emotions run through my body. I cried tears of joy and victory while punching and kicking the air. I felt like my whole body had been filled with tension that was all released in the highly emotional and DEEP ROOTED cleansing. Big Deep Breath Here. I was so excited to be on my own. I was happy, empowered and ready to build my best life. I felt a deeper freedom in my movement forward and in this journey of self-exploration more than ever before.

Before leaving my job I had been hosting some motivational groups around health and wellness, and worked this hobby as passion to elevate myself and others. Many people began mirroring back to me, how my work and the way that I live my life with such a deep positivity, that I should continue to work with others to motivate them to do the same. So that is exactly what I did. I started meeting new people and making new connections. I started doing the work I felt entirely connected to, bringing me back to my core beliefs and a new defined drive in life. A year after, I was expecting my first baby daughter. More than ever, I was focused and excited for the new future.

Following the birth of my first daughter, things were supposed to continue moving forward, as I had set the grounds for that to happen during my entire pregnancy. However, during the most crucial time I needed to deeply navigate the change in my body and my new life, and as my baby started to see her pediatrician, it became so clear to me that the American Health System was about checking boxes and meeting averages. This system didn’t serve me or my child or my relationship with my husband. As a mom, I had gone through the most charged up transformation of my life of having a natural birth. Afterwards, I felt so lost in the chaos of trying to heal to my body and care for my daughter while dealing with other challenging life issues. After about 3 months, I started to find some relief in my life and create clarity for my purpose to regain its placement in my every day. I learned quickly that if women don’t have the support to prepare them for life after the child is born, they can fall into a dark place that seems almost incapable to get out of. I learnt a different kind of strength, one that once again re-defined me and the path that I was about to follow.

I healed my past hurts and grief, and started teaching women entrepreneurs how they can do the same: I watched them increase the space to explore their mental wellbeing, deepen their relationship with their body and create more motivation and productivity in their every day lives! I have since made a commitment to dedicate the rest of my professional life to helping other women own their truth, their well-being, and their lives.

Since then, I worked with many private clients, spoken in front of countless groups, traveled to all-inclusive resorts throughout the US while working my online business: I live my dream of serving women and freeing them up from the idea that they need to be everything to everyone and help them honor deep self-care; and I have created Breakthrough To The True YouTM, a series of steps that help identify, sort and focus in different areas in life. Every woman entrepreneur with a busy lifestyle needs to apply to increase time and confidence, physically, mentally and emotionally.

Vision is born when we are brave enough to admit we have dreams and set ourselves to make them happen no matter what. The Enterprising Women's Book embodies the vision I have set myself to conquer and much more; such a brave bold idea to unite Women with and in purpose, that inspire beyond limits, that too get the chance to hug each other for their uniqueness while learning and re-learning, and that set an example through media and stages with their authentic message. The EWB also gives me the chance to pay it forward in the Entrepreneur's community as well as outside. To be an example that dreams come true is an honor.
